The Concrete NZ Learned Society facilitates the sharing of industry knowledge, participates in the development of concrete and construction and provides a foundation for building valuable networks, in New Zealand and overseas.

Integral to achieving these objectives is forming meaningful connections with young people.

As such, every year the Society supports final year students of a relevant bachelor’s degree or a professional/taught master’s programme, to attend a concrete related event - principally the Concrete NZ conference.

These $1,000 travel bursaries, approximately ten in total, are also available to early career professionals employed by a Learned Society Business or Corporate Individual member.

Nominations for the Travel Bursary are typically called for in February/March and are open to the Learned Society's Business and Corporate Individual members.
