The GCCA is the trusted, authoritative platform and voice for the cement and concrete sector across the world. Their work will help ensure that the views of cement and concrete are holistic and based on robust evidence. GCCA’s membership consists of cement
producers from right across the globe. With new members joining all the time, they are quickly working towards our membership accounting for 50% of global cement production capacity.
Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) is the peak body for the heavy construction materials industry in Australia. Its members operate cement manufacturing and distribution facilities, concrete batching plants, hard rock quarries and sand
and gravel extraction operations throughout the nation. On behalf of the Australian cement & concrete industry, CCAA has declared its ambition to deliver net zero carbon cement and concrete by 2050.
The Portland Cement Association (PCA), founded in 1916, is the premier policy, research, education, and market intelligence organization serving America’s cement manufacturers. PCA supports sustainability, innovation, and safety while fostering continuous
improvement in cement manufacturing, distribution, infrastructure, and economic growth.
The European Cement Association is the representative organisation of the cement industry in Europe. Cembureau acts as spokesperson for the cement industry before the EU institutions and other public authorities, and communicates the industry’s views
on all issues and policy developments regarding technical, environmental, energy, employee health and safety and sustainability issues.
The Concrete Centre provides material, design and construction guidance. Our aim is to enable all those involved in the design, use and performance of concrete to realise the potential of the material. The Concrete Centre provides published guidance,
seminars, courses, online resources and industry research to the design community.
The MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub, CSHub, is a dedicated interdisciplinary team of researchers from several departments across MIT working on concrete and infrastructure science, engineering, and economics since 2009. The MIT CSHub brings together leaders
from academia, industry, and government to develop breakthroughs using a holistic approach that will achieve durable and sustainable homes, buildings, and infrastructure in ever more demanding environments.
MPA UK Concrete is part of the Mineral Products Association (MPA), the trade association for the aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and silica, sand industries, and has been set up to represent the UK’s concrete industry.
The Concrete Council of Canada is a new organization of national and provincial associations bringing together representatives from the full spectrum of cement and concrete manufacturers across Canada. The Council’s mission is to advance the industry’s
leadership in sustainable construction and promote the social, environmental and economic value of concrete, concrete products and concrete systems in Canada.
