WHY YOU & YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD ATTEND THIS SEMINAR
Attendees will learn about latest developments in the design and construction of concrete industrial and commercial floors and suspended floors.
The requirements of building occupiers and construction methodologies used by industry have advanced rapidly over the last decade. This means that some content of Standards such as NZS 3114:1987 Specification for Concrete Surface Finishes is
out of date and no longer meets the needs of the building industry.
The seminar will introduce the new Concrete NZ technical specification on surface regularity requirements for concrete floors. This document provides contemporary methods for assessing surface regularity for a variety of floor uses.
THIS SEMINAR WILL COVER
- Historical evolution and latest developments in industrial floor construction
- Common issues with the design and construction of industrial and suspended concrete floors
- Contemporary methods for assessing surface regularity – attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the new Concrete NZ technical specification on surface regularity requirements for concrete floors
- Demonstrations and examples of how to measure and assess surface regularity
